Awarded for an outstanding initiative either by an organisation or an individual from across the NSW or ACT waste management sector that enhances (or has the potential to enhance) the reputation of the waste and recycling industry by improving service levels, operational efficiency or sustainability of resource management. The winner's name will be engraved on a perpetual trophy to be retained for display at the WCRA office.
A gift voucher of $500 will be awarded to the winner.
SAFETY AWARD

Awarded for an initiative or response developed by an individual (or a group of individuals) on behalf of either a WCRA Member or an Associate Member or a Sponsor of WCRA. The initiative will be one that is judged to improve (or have the potential to improve) the health and safety of workers in the waste and recycling industry and/or members of the public who might otherwise be exposed to safety risks posed by the operation of the waste and recycling industry. The winner's name will be engraved on a perpetual trophy to be retained for display at the WCRA office.
A gift voucher of $500 will be awarded to the winner.
YOUTH IN WASTE AWARD

Awarded to an individual (30 years of age and under) from across the NSW or ACT waste management sector that has the potential to enhance the reputation of the waste & recycling industry by improving service levels, operational efficiency or sustainability of resource management. The winner's name will be engraved on a perpetual trophy to be retained for display at the WCRA office.
A gift voucher of $500 will be awarded to the winner.
